Pants Clinic: Diagnose Your Fit Issues

There's nothing so frustrating as trying to properly fit a pair of pants! Join fit expert Beth Galvin to diagnose all those pesky fitting issues. We will be working with fitting a muslin. Not sure what that means? Read more in Beth's post on Craftsy.

We are limiting the size of this class to only 4 students so that you get the best of both worlds: plenty of individual attention from the teacher as well as the encouragement and companionship of a classroom setting.

In this class, we will cover:

- Taking accurate measurements to get a good fit

- Choosing the right pattern size

- Working with a muslin to fit the pants

- Lots of tips on how to make sewing faster and more accurate

Pattern Suggestions:

Pants are such a personal choice! We've decided to let you choose what pattern you want to make.

Skill level: Advanced Beginner (201+) You will need to know the basics of sewing and have made at least one garment before. If you'd like a refresher, check out our Garment Sewing classes!

About the instructor:

Beth Galvin started sewing at age 7 and can sew everything from casual knit tops to tailored jackets to over the top party dresses. She has a popular sewing blog, Sunnygal Studio, where she shares her tips and tricks and she also blogs for Craftsy. Beth loves to help people get the pattern they love to fit the way they want. She is brilliant at adding stylish little details that make your projects look professional and special, but what's even better is that she has figured out how to make it easier! One of her favorite things is to teach you the tips and shortcuts that will make your sewing faster and also more fun.
