ONLINE: Whimsical Applique with Pati Fried

Let’s blow the lid off of old school applique and open up a whole new world of fabric play. This is a no fuse, no fuss way to layer cheerful colors, shapes and patterns together into whimsical images, then stitch them in place with fun, imperfect stitches. With a few important design concepts, you will see how easy it is to design and create oodles of projects with this technique.

We will work with fabric bits and scraps, recycled materials and ephemera to create playful vignettes that can be added to your fabric book or to create a small, stand alone work of art.
