Quick Quarantine Fit Tips - or how to fit your sewing patterns on your own! Join fit expert Beth Galvin for this online class that will explain five common fit adjustments:

  1. How to grade between pattern sizes 
  2. Easy pattern adjustment for snug sleeves 
  3. Bust adjustments - a couple of sneaky ways to get a better fit 
  4. How to move the bust dart to the right place 
  5. How to change darts to gathers for a more forgiving fit

The class will wrap up with a Q&A among the group.

You have a few projects under your belt. You've made a garment or two and you're ready to learn more advanced basics.

About the instructor: 

Beth Galvin started sewing at age 7 and can sew everything from casual knit tops to tailored jackets to over the top party dresses. She has a popular sewing blog, Sunnygal Studio where she shares her tips and tricks and she also blogs for Craftsy. Beth loves to help people get the pattern they love to fit the way they want. She is brilliant at adding stylish little details that make your projects look professional and special, but what's even better is that she has figured out how to make it easier! One of her favorite things is to teach you the tips and shortcuts that will make your sewing faster and also more fun. Cancellation Policy:

Class fees are transferable to another class or to studio credit if cancellation is made at least 72 hours before class. If cancellations are made after the 72 hour advance window has passed, we will not be able to issue refunds or studio credits. You can, however transfer the class to a friend.

If a student arrives 10 minutes or more after the start of class, it is at the discretion of the teacher as to whether the student will be admitted to the Zoom meeting. No refunds or studio credit will be given for late arrivals or no-shows.
