Fabric Collage with Free Motion Embroidery

**This is a 2 session class: Wednesdays, June 19 & 26, 6pm - 8pm**

Learn how to turn focus fabrics into art! Have you always loved those brightly printed fabrics, but just don't quite know how to use them? Let your creativity loose and play with gorgeous fabrics to create a fabulous fabric collage, then add another layer of creativity by adding free-motion thread embroidery on top. We promise that you'll get addicted to playing with fabric this way! Vanina will also share her technique for working without using fusibles or glues.

In this class you will learn all the steps and techniques to create a fabric collage including:

• Transferring the initial design - choose between a skull, butterfly, or bring your own design to work with

• Working with focus fabrics

• How to place fabrics without using glues or interfacing
